Fabulous Recipe to Spice Up your Ordinary Burger
There are times in our weight management efforts where we can get bored of eating the same foods and really desire a change from the ordinary. Danielle Despain, a patient at CNC , was getting bored with eating burger patties mainly due to lack of flavor and creativity. She decided to experiment and came up with a delicious burger recipe below.
- 1 pound lean hamburger or ground turkey breast meat
- 1 egg
- 7oz. can diced green chiles, mild
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 2 T. Emeril’s Bam! burger seasoning
- Weber Gourmet burger seasoning
- Tone’s garlic powder (option)
Mix all ingredients together except last two. Form patties. Add 2 remaining seasonings on burger while cooking. Enjoy!
I tried this recipe and loved it (and so did my family)! The recipe can also be used for meatloaf/meatloaf muffins. Take this recipe as an inspiration to come up with your own creativity with ordinary foods and turning them into fabulous! If you have a recipe to share, feel free to post it.
